ABOUT ME

I am a 28-year-old woman, yes, I say a woman insted of saying a girl, as I am waiting my first baby who is making a revolution in my life. I am also a contemporary dancer with lots of different kind of projects, and with a collectively organized autofinanced studio in Lyon.
I choosed one year ago to have a break in my quite nomade life and move to French Alps to learn biodynamic organic agriculture in a place called Damias. A great experience in terms of work, humain exchange and collective living - Damias organises many meditation workshops and also hosts backbackers, wwoofers, hikers, pony trekkers .. . And a big dive to a real alternative way to organize life as ecologically as possible. With my boyfriend we organized in Damias and in Eourres, the village just nearby, an artistic festival called Agricolo_danse, a pluridisclinary festival with lots artist doing dance-, theater-, music-, and circusperformances, exhibitions and musicinstalations, linked to nature spaces and agriculture environment, mixing different kind of publics and finding inventive performing spaces. This kind of activity, between concret of agriculture and poetic of arts, we are about to developpe also in the new area we are living in, in Broissia.
I am an open-minded person questionning my place in the chain of human beings, and finding more and more the conditions of local living and local organisation between people more and more important.

Interests

I am an active part of a studio and an artistic workplace called LIEUES in Lyon. This place is a crossroad of many desires and dreams and discussions and movements of seven young women, and we organize many different kind of happenings from concerts and kid's workshops to open contemporary dance workshops, cinemas and philosophical debates. Lieues is also a crossing spot for different people in the performance arts in Lyon, and it makes my life dynamic with many possibles - Lieues is auto-financed and finds its own solutions for alternative way of existing as we find the most heartwarming and efficient.
I enjoy making sauna, doing yoga, having long walks and talks with friends, hot tea in the winter and bare skin in the summer. Movement in many ways is important to me, in the body, in the mind and spirit, on the globe, in the relationships. .. Movement of dancing body, movement of meditating soul, laughing being.
I also love to observe wild and domestic animals; fox, birds, hedgehogs, and chicks, sheep, cows, and insects, ants. Nature is a part of my everyday life, therefore I am happy to live in the countryside, and travel, pass in the cities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Sequoia Giant Trees Park in California, and the first sounds of the waves of the Pacific Ocean just before us but in the dark so that we couldn't see anything, only hear ; the amazing desert of Morocco in many ways, but especially when the moon came up red as a flame behind the dunes and said hi to the red sun going doing at the other side of the endless space ; to come back home to Finland after so many months and the Baltic Sea was so close and smooth and silent to dive in the night . ...
