Overview
About Me
Swede trying to get by in the world. Kind of new to this backpacking/traveling business.
I've been working as a caregiver for most of my "adult" life, taking care of both disabled children and disoriented elders. I lived in Oslo for two years selling electronics, TV subscriptions. I also worked at a warehouse for some time.
I grew up with my mum and older brother on the countryside close to animals and nature. My mum keeps trotting horses, chickens, cats and dogs and is a great animal friend. So am I.
I must say I'm a loving person with great tolerance and patience towards others. Nothing better really than making others laugh, smile or feeling needed.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Just thought it a great way for me to socialize when out of my comfort zone. I might be a bit shy, actually, and I don't want to be. Haven't been traveling a lot and therefore my english is not the best at the moment. I'd love to get a bit of an accent before I turn back home.
Interests
Music, being with friends, chilling, nature, animals, football, history, alcohol (and other, less legal drugs), food, comics, video games, conspiracy theories, science, architecture and more. Not exclusively in that order.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything that gets me going really. Everyting from 50's surf and garage rock to modern brainwashing trance and electronica. Mostly I end up somewhere in between with a predilection for old stuff with weeping guitars and crashed drum sets.
As for movies I like anything by Quentin or Wes Anderson or Hayao Miyazaki. But then again I'm into lots of different things. Recently saw the Revenant and it's fucking brutal. Marlon Brando is a bit of a hero of mine, mainly because of his contributions in movies such as the Godfather and Apocalypse Now.
I'm not really what you call a great consumer of literature, sadly. Currently I'm making my way through the fantasy series Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. A fantasy epic consisting of 14 books and it's truly brilliant.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Caring for a dying man.
Sigur Rós at Way Out West, Gothenburg.
Teach, Learn, Share
I guess I could give you a lesson or two in Swedish. But you shouldn't get your hopes up.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Maybe some stories from the north. How my friends and I lived as if in a third world country in the middle of modern day Oslo, Norway. What it's like growing up surrounded by horses.
And also, of course, a helping hand with whatever chores you might have.
