Overview
About Me
Hey, my name is Rike and I'm 24 years old. I was born and raised in Berlin, where I'm still living.
Currently, I've been traveling for more than two months now since I finished my Bachelor's degree in social work in Berlin. It was important for me to see something from the world before I'm going to continue my Master's degree in social work this fall.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my social volunteer year in South Africa (2012-2013) I lived and worked together with locals from the village and since then It has been important for me to get to know more about the people from the countries I've been traveling.
Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to have an exchange of people's culture, traditions, knowledge and so much more.
In addition to that Couchsurfing offers a great opportunity to travel a little bit cheaper, since (I guess) everybody knows how expensive it can get.
Of course, it's not about using somebody for their apartment. By offering my own home on couch surfing it's kind of a taking and giving :)
