ABOUT ME

Hello!  I'm from Oakland California and have been totally in love with traveling since I first left the country when I was 14. More than just seeing some place new, I think it's the experience of putting yourself in a vulnerable position and finding beauty and connection that is so rewarding.  I'm addicted!  I like to have knowledge/plans when I travel, but also be flexible and go with the flow.  I think the best way to get to know a place is to talk with people who are from there on a more individual/personal level so I love the idea of coach surfing.  I like to go out and do the party thing sometimes, but usually am equally as happy to stay in and cook (not an expert but learning!), go on a hike, or some other random activity.  Any other questions, just ask!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have traveled a lot but I'm new to the couch surfing way of life - we've hosted two here in Spain so far and had good experiences! I also once accidentally couchsurfed in Ghana when I got stuck in a small town with no transportation. However, now that I'm in Europe, I want to get into both surfing and hosting more!

Interests

Snacks, meals, desserts, and banquets. Other than food, I also love swimming, hiking, almost any type of adventure activity (rock climbing, sky diving, scuba diving), learning about new music, photography, animals, horse back riding.
