I'm a 35 year old female/woman, who want's to see a bit of the world before i'm setteling down and getting a job after studying for what feels like a lifetime.
I've waitng for the results of my latest exam, and which better way to do this than by travelling.
A couple of friends have moved into my home, when I explore Australia, so my animals are cared fore, and they can remowe snow from the sidewalk and empty the mailbox while i'm absence.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wan't to experience the local aussie culture and not only se it from hostels.

I'm not a routine backpacker, and my english spelling is a bit rusty, but it'll get better, when i'm practising it on a day to day basis.

It is my hope, that this way of travelling will give me some unique experiences and to get to see and feel the aussie way of life and local culture of this great and big country.

Interests

I have three greek tortoises and to collared lizzards. I once lived with a man, who was alergic to fur and feather. He is gone now, but I still have the animals. I think, that when you commit to having an animal, you must take full responsibility for it for the rest of it's life.
Animals are a passion to me. I have an education as a zoo-ceeper back in 2007, but couldn't get a job because of the financial crisis. The zoos were cutting down on staff back in 2007-2008. So I decided ti get another education. Trying to manage the public administration is kind of taking care of a zoo... :-)
I like to express my self in a creative way by painting, taking pictures or drawing, but my many years of styudying have taken a lot of my time, so i haven't practised so much, so my skills are a bit rusty.
Or else i am a curious person, who likes to explore the adventure in the everyday life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not that into techno and electronic music - at home I listen to the radio most of the time. But I prefere rock and not to sweet pop.
I like to watch documentaries at tv and read both crime and fantasy novels.
