About Me

Young, Australian traveller, looking for more adventures and stories to tell. Quit my job start of 2017 to explore the world, starting with a trans-Atlantic crossing in a 8m sailboat. I live for the outdoors and adventure. Can't keep away from the ocean, I love to surf and dive.
I really enjoy learning about other cultures and exchanging stories and traditions.
I am positive and enthusiastic about life, and always love learning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My favourite thing about travelling is meeting new people and experiencing new cultures and traditions. Couchsurfing allows me to travel within budget whilst meeting amazing new people and learning their cultures, especially with locals who can show me the behind scenes of their beautiful towns and cities.

Interests

I have always lived and worked in the country/outback, fuelling my love for the outdoors. Coming from a small country town where the surf meets the forest, I have always had a passion for the ocean and environment. Peace and love has always been preached in my community and something I believe in strongly.
Keeping active and learning about other cultures are my main passions.

Music, Movies, and Books

Most music - Reggae, rock, jazz, soul/funk, rnb, etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sailed across the Atlantic Ocean from Bermuda to Açores in a 27ft Sailboat 😆
I also climbed the highest peak in Portugal (Mt Pico, 2351m).

I was caught in a typhoon and was a cast away for a night.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I can help those who's first language isn't English to improve. I can also teach some Aussie slang to those that have mastered English already.
I have been known to teach surfing to many friends, so if you want to try and have a board... I can help.
I have many stories and laughs to share if none of the above interest or apply to you.

Learn:
I would love to learn other languages and traditions.
Try other foods, and local wines ;).
Learn new skills and recipes.
