About Me
Hello there,
My name is Rikki McGrath.
I'm 24 years old, and I live with my best friend in an outer suburb of Melbourne, Australia.
I'm all about meaningful conversations in the kitchen at 3:30am on a weeknight, going on adventures, and simply trying to enjoy all that being alive at this point in time has to offer.
If you welcome me onto your couch I straight up promise you that you won't regret it. In fact, I can almost guarantee that you'll enjoy my company, as I'm a bit of a people pleaser, and comedy is kind of my thing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I consider myself quite a lucky guy.
To be getting flown overseas to work a job that I actually enjoy, while simultaneously being given the opportunity to connect with a variety of people from all over the world.
Yeah, I'd consider myself pretty damn lucky indeed.
What am I doing on Couchsurfing?
I intend on hopefully gaining a few friends, drinking a few ciders, safely consume a mushroom or two and dive further into this mind of mine. Put simply, I definitely intend on leaving Amsterdam with more than just one or two quality memories.
Interests
I'm in love with music, I probably wouldn't want to live in a World without it.
I train in Jiu Jitsu when back at home in Melbourne and I believe it helps make me a better person.
I like listening to Podcasts, as I like to expand my mindset and world view as much as I can, and what better way is there than to immerse myself in long form conversations everyday?
Find me on Instagram if you want to see what you'd be getting yourself into by accepting me into your home, I post stuff regularly on there so it'll be a good indicator for you of my interests and hobbies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Flying a plane is definitely up in the top five things I've experienced in my life so far, but ahh... maybe as I'm about to go overseas to film a TV show after only being in the industry for a year, that's pretty cool too, so as far as being proud of myself for doing so well, I'd say that counts as an amazing thing I've done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could make you star in your own short 30 second film and edit it on my iPhone?
W could get high and have a sing a long.
We could sit down over a few drinks and teach one another about our different cultures and dialects.
You could whisk me around town and show me your local haunts!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My charisma, mixed in with my outgoing personality make me an interesting guy to be around, as you never quite know whether the next thing to come out of my mouth is going to be a joke, a serious question, or a two hour conversation with you about life and everything in the universe.
