My name is Rike. I like to travel but this year I learned that I really like "living" in places for short period. It is far more interesting to stay with somebody who knows the place and knows the people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope to surf a little and meet interesting people while traveling, but I'd also love to meet up with other sufers or find somebody to travel with for some time.
I went to Couchsurfing meetings in Santiago and I also hung out with Couchsurfing people from Rio because my friend and host was friends with them.
Up until now I have only surfed one couch from a person that I did not know before. It was a really good experience and I'd do it again. I would love to host people once I have a permanent place to live at that allows it.
