About Me
Hi, My name is Rik.
I'm a software developer as a profession but I'm traveler at heart. I've traveled along the west coast of North America in a few separate trips and I love the continent for all the beautiful and unique National Parks. I've also done a road trip to scotland.
A long my travels I like to meet people. Usually I offer people a ride if they need one and this quickly brings up the oppertunity to meet and hangout with some very awesome people.
A small summary of the places I've visited.

May 2016: USA Roadtrip: Minneapolis, Grand Tetons NP, Yellowstone NP, San Francisco

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a solo traveler and I like to meet people, hear their stories and join them or let them join me in their adventures. Recently I've moved to my own place and I'll be able to open up my house to fellow couchsurfers. As I have met and stayed with a few couchsurfers myself, I thought it is fair to share something back. Also I hope to meet more awesome people from around the world and share travel inspirations and stories.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all kinds of music. But for a good party I'm big fan of techno and electronic music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've hiked and climbed the Half Dome ~26 kilometer round trip. It took a total amount of 14 hours of hiking and it was well worth it as I got to see the most beautiful view of Yosemite national park.
