Overview
About Me
I am a student, teacher, and human.
At the moment, I'm trying to find out what I want to see in the world, and how we can live in a more human and empathetic society. I have lived in Canada/the US most of my life, but feel immensely for the akin beings of this Earth who are suffering. I have been touched by the experiences, communities, and inequalities I've witnessed through my travels, but from this I've found that education is a tool to empower people for change.
The world is a big classroom and everyone in it is a teacher, that's why I travel, to learn and share what I have gained through my experiences.
I'm currently a student in Victoria BC, but tryna find a compromise between finishing my degree and learning though community engagement. Through my 3 years of studies I've learned that teachers are not limited to those figures in schools, but can be anyone who is there supporting your development and making you grow as a person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would be so greatful to meet local people and rest my body anywhere that is dry. Traveling to new place is so much more meaningful when I am welcomed by a someone who lives there, and talking through diversities of people is humbling in so many ways.
Interests
I enjoy urban foraging for rescued veggies and sharing the blessings of reformist meals with lovely people. In spite of climate crisis and the unparalleled paradigm shift needed for people living within western societies, I am an aspiring activist and I would love to share my experience and discuss creative ways to empower positive change.
I was raised by two river guide and ski patrol parents and today I actively find respite from school though backpacking, surfing, climbing, and marveling at the complex miracles of life.
Sailing is an up and comming way of life for me and I'm learning so much where I'm living to hopefully own a boat some day soon.

Music, Movies, and Books
I get down to jazz, disco, soul, techno, folktronic, low fi house, hiphip and anything that makes me feel into someone's musical emotions. The raw creativity expressed in music is limitless and I am open to sharing what I can express through percussion and guitar along with organic freestyling in the moment.
Books:
"Siddhartha", by Herman Hess. "Emerald Mile", "A New Republic of the Heart", by Terry Patten
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Built trails through a threatened ancient rainforest on the West Coast of Biritsh Columbia where 1200 year old trees and ecosystems are vulnerable to industrial logging
Teach, Learn, Share
I would be so excited to talk with people about ways to build communities. The bewildering arrays of issues facing global ecosystems and the intense inequalities and suffrages happening globally can be debilitating, but I would be happy to share hopeful stories of success and enlighten people with a positive hope for creative change. I also have so much to learn from other activists and diverse cultures.
I can share music, singing, and getting weird on the dance floor. Also some tasty treats from the kitchen.
What I Can Share with Hosts
