Hello! I am an artist originally from Chicago but my partner (Maya) and I are living in London at the moment. I studied in film/video/art in undergrad and hope to one day go to graduate school so that I can teach those subjects at a university level. But recently most of my work has jumped between teaching children and young adults, working within video/media departments (most recently at MoMA NY), and working at a variety of arts related non-profits. Outside of work, I spend most of my time going to events, whether it be a performance of some sort of screening, art event, concert, etc. I also love hanging out with people over a coffee or cocktail. I am very easy going, warm, and have a very loud cackle when I find something hilarious - which most people find endearing, but I apologize in advance for it!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Maya and I are currently traveling around Europe a bit for various artist residencies, working on a few farms, and meeting up with some friends. We have our housing locked for most of our travels, but there are a few dates here and there where we need a place to crash! We had never used Couchsurfing until about a month ago in Berlin and we had such a great experience! We are hoping to host couchsurfers once we move back to London and find another home there. It's such a great community of people and we wish we had realized that sooner :)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

one amazing thing that i haven't "done" but i have LIVED through is not being able to smell anything except for like gasoline and citrus. every once in a while i can smell a really strong perfume.
