Overview
About Me
I like laughing, games, and learning things; I don't like fanaticism, negativity, and cold weather. I'm colourblind and have three tattoos.
I work as a primary school teacher during the day and a tour guide on evenings and weekends. I like reading, playing board and video games, and taking photos of everything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've hung out with a few people here and there and I don't have anything bad to say about the whole deal. I liked Couchsurfing across the US five years ago and I liked hosting people when I lived in Melbourne two years ago. I think Couchsurfing opens a lot of doors that are often closed for stupid reasons.
Interests
I like good humour, bad food, and good company. But then again, who doesn't?
I like nice weather, walking or riding about, playing games, playing music, and more generally spending time with interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books
At the moment, my favourite bands in no particular order are: Tame Impala, The Oh Hellos, Sufjan Stevens, They Might Be Giants, The Notorious B.I.G., Radical Face, geez, the list goes on.
My favourite books are Flowers for Algernon, The Hobbit, and High Fidelity. I'm currently in the middle of reading the Discworld Series, which is obviously brilliant.
I love Star Wars and always enjoy films by Christopher Nolan and the Coen Brothers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I broke my neck when I was 17, then had a stroke when I was 22. I guess that's two things. Oops!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can keep a room of eight-year-olds interested in most topics, but I don't know how well that extends to adults. My English is first-rate, my German is abysmal.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can't really cook or anything but I know like two or three pretty good jokes?
