ABOUT ME
I'm the cutest, funniest person you'll ever have the honour of meeting. But that would be an understatement.
Even though I'm predisposed to overthinking everything and exaggerating, I'm also pretty laid-back and know how to enjoy the little things in life: I like cats, coffee, chocolate, books and art. I own two cats, I stack my books vertically and I paint my own stuff that I hang up on my walls just to show off.
When I don't spend my time reading, I like to write. My main aim is to become a published author one day, so I'm working towards that goal one paragraph at a time. Being a writer, I like to observe - different people and situations inspire me, so I try to find as many adventures as possible to fuel my creative engines. This is where travelling comes in.
I've already traveled a lot, but I want more. Not the touristy stuff, not the superficial parts of visiting other countries. I want the adventurous, the intense and the beneath-the-surface type of experience. I need to know the little secrets every city has to offer, because other places are more than just keychains and fridge magnets.
I can ice-skate, roller-blade, play baseball and badminton, and I love to hike and cycle around town. I'm a terrible swimmer. It's more of a float/sink situation with me, which is potentially life-threatening in the long term. But I don't worry. Worrying is dumb.
I like to bake and cook, but when I do it's not in the traditional way - let's just say I like to mix things up when it comes to making food. I enjoy everything exotic (which applies to drinking as well), but if there's one thing I steer clear from, that's fish. I'm sorry, but it just makes me want to stab myself in the stomach repeatedly. Fish is simply disgusting, no questions asked.
I'm adventurous to the point of avoiding the answer "no" when the question is "do you want to [insert something incredibly stupid and potentially dangerous here]?". I like to make extreme situations and incredible scenarios that could only happen in movies or books real. Life is more fun on the edge.
I really like partying (I've got the moves part covered, since I was a dance instructor for 3 and a half years) and I enjoy drinking wine. When in other countries I like to try new types of alcohol, for diversity's sake. I don't smoke tobacco and I'm very open-minded. *wink wink nudge nudge*
I like making lists.
1.Because they're fun.
2.Because they help me organize my otherwise chaotic life. If I didn't have lists, I wouldn't get anything done on time (or at all for that matter).
I like crafting. I've been making my own jewelry, stenciled T-shirts and art ever since I realized I wasn't completely horrible at it. Crafting is fun.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't believe in religion per say. I believe in science, the second law of thermodynamics and the Universe. I believe we're all matter, and that we all matter. That's basically it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only been hosted a few times so far - all of which proved to be quite the adventures :D With such a great start, I'm looking forward to an even greater continuation.
Interests
I think that there's never enough time for everything I would like to do, so I try to take things one day at a time. I like meeting new people, so I try to do that at least a few times a week. I like reading. I read a lot. A. Lot. Because Stephen King said that if you don't write 6 hours a day, you'd better spend that time reading. Of course, I can't afford to spend 6 hours a day doing that but hey, I try.
I'm interested in everything and anything, because nothing is truly uninteresting. (except for boring people and bad literature. I'm looking at you, "Fifty Shades of Grey").
I've recently discovered cycling (since I got a new bike for my birthday, heh) and I must say I'm in love with it. Long bike rides on the river bank are just the medicine I need after a long summer day.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can't choose. That's one of my main problems. But I appreciate most to all kinds of art. Life is all about change and diversity.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on an Eurotrip right after I finished high school, with 3 of my friends. We mostly slept in the car along the way, trying to fit like in a Tetris game you KNOW you'll lose. We spent a week in Amsterdam, most of which I have difficulties remembering. It. Was. Awesome.
I've also been to Disneyland, Paris, right before I turned 18. Like, one day before I officially became an adult, I was riding the Mad Hatter's Teacups and the Indiana Jones roller-coaster. It was a very cute tribute to childhood and a proper way of saying goodbye.
I spent a month in Norway, which was something truly incredible in itself. Living an entire month in Bergen like one of the locals really taught me a lot about the country and the people in it. Also, the fjords are pretty cool.
I ran away from home one summer morning (when I was 17) to go camping with some friends in the mountains. Called mom from the train, she was NOT pleased. But the trip didn't last as long as expected, since we got caught in the mother of all storms and had to return to home base. Embarrassing but worth it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to ballroom-dance, from the tango to the waltz, baby.
I can teach you the basics of the Norwegian language and, if you're interested, the basics of Romanian (as unlikely as that may be =) ).
I can teach you how to make homemade pizza, muffins and pancakes.
I can teach you how to make your own jewelry or paint your own shirts (it's a hobby/little business of mine, so I'm sort of good at it. Not exceptional, but good enough :P).
I'd like to learn how to swim... nobody's ever managed to teach me that yet.
I'd like to learn how to make cocktails professionally.
I'd also like to improve my Norwegian language skills.
I'd like to grasp German at a conversational-level.
