About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Think globally and act locally

ABOUT ME

I don't think anyone can be described in fews words... though I guess those few words describe me pretty well

PHILOSOPHY

Don't waste your life looking for answers. Take your time and focus on asking yourself the right questions first.

Trust yourself. Be true. Keep your good values close as you walk straight to your goal. No need to look back, if you've learned enough from experience, you'll have your mind clear and so your goal will be.

Meeting people face to face is absolutely the best way to share and learn - the more open minded you are, the more you learn.

Learning and work on ourselves is the only thing that really lasts. Objects, relationships, possessions, health, youth are not everlasting. Here's another good reason for us to work for our future generations instead of focusing only on making money.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed few couches so far in BC and Alberta where i met some wonderful people and learned a bunch about the couchsurfing community. Now back in Quebec, i've hosted some crazy couchsurfers for the past years and i'm willing to keep hosting until i have no couch left for surfers to surf! Happy surfing!

Interests

Learn from and think about human relationships, ways of thinking and of seeing the world around us. My passion is to work with people, especially with kids for their eagerness to learn and to understand everything without a prejudice. They always remind me that the most interesting part of something often happens to be the one that you haven't fully understood yet.

Music, Movies, and Books

For me art is the best way to accuratly communicate an idea with the right emotion. The more intense, the better!
Movies: Alejandro González Iñárritu, Robert Zemeckis, Quentin Tarantino, Monty Python (very funny)
Music: Ccr, Bob Dylan, Supertamp, System of a Down, Kamendja, Mumford and sons, Cat Stevens, the Tallest man on Earth, the Offsprinps, the Cranberries, Pink Flyod, Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach, Beethoven, a lot metal music and some punk rock bands, tons of good folk bands from Quebec and everything else i can discover and learn to listen to!
Books: I'm mostly reading the newspaper with a critical eye and a curious one but recently i've met Matthew Lipman, Ann-Margaret Sharp, Frederic Nietzsche, Platon, Christian Bourdieu and Christian Bobin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scared a cougar in Banff, randomly prayed with a group of christians in a park in Kelowna, played harmonica raising money in the streets of Vancouver, crawled in and explored a secret cave on Mount Douglas in Victoria and hitch-hiked from Victoria to Ucluelet. All that in the same month.

For the rest, many many stories, amazing and/or weird ones that i would surely love to share with you if we have the chance to meet up one day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm ready to share whatever i have if it's needed.

If you want, I can teach you: To play drums, to play djembe, to play harmonica, to speak and/or write french and/or english, to win a rock-paper-scisors contest, to grow mushrooms, to plan a non violent revolution, to scare a cougar or a bear away, to stay positive and passionate in life, to whislte very very loudly with your mouth only (no finger tricks needed) or do the same with an empty beer bottle, to know what time it is by looking at the sun, to find free food, to play sokatoha! etc etc etc.

I hope to learn from you too. I think every human being you get to meet can always teach you something. That's why meeting people is such a great way to learn.
