ABOUT ME

hmm, kind of weird trying to describe yourself the way your friends would do it! also, it would be boring to tell you how funny, open-minded, interested in foreign countries, people, food and culture,... i am - due to the fact that probably (well, hopefully) everyone of the couch surfing-community is supposed to be like that...
so, i'll only give you some facts (and not the "why-am-i-the-super-duper-special-greatest-person-in-the-world"-kind of thing!). well, i grew up in a village near heidelberg, germany. after finishing school i traveled to canada with a friend of mine, where we stayed 7 months working on farms, which was one of the greatest times of my live. later i moved to konstanz in order to study spanish and chemistry (yes, i know, that's a strange combination! but that's the way i like it ;)!!). i've just finished my studies and am currently planing a trip to colombia/ecuador/chile :)

PHILOSOPHY

as a friend of mine from japan used to say: laugh is medicine;)!

and also, as a song taught me: be young, be foolish, but be happy!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i discovered the site in 2008 when i traveled to canada/the US with a friend. we spent a great time couchsurfing in seattle, new york and san francisco. after that i did some more couchsurfing in poland, spain and portugal. so far, i've only had really good experiences and i am still fascinated by all the kindness and great moments i've been able to live thanks to this wonderful network :)

also in my shared flat in konstanz we hosted some guests, though not via my account, but that of my friend/roommate (Clara Huttenlauch) :)

canada, especially vancouver island..we camped on a beach on the west coast trail for 3 weeks, saw lots of bears and whales, amazing forests and beaches :)
