Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

In Poasito, Costa Rica, which is way up in the hills, we watched thunderstorms hit San Jose (the capital). It was a pretty amazing sight to see as the storm clouds were actually beneath us so it made for a cool view. That whole trip was incredible actually. Visit Costa Rica if you can, volunteering there is the best way to get a true feel for the country. Being in South Korea for the World Cup was a lot of fun. Being from Canada we've never been involved in the World Cup so to be in a country that was a part of it was great. You should spend a year there teaching if you can, you'll love it, and will probably end up staying for more than you expect. Lastly, being in Toronto when Canada won the gold medal game vs. USA (2010 Vancouver Olympics, hockey) was absolutely incredible. I haven't seen anything like that ever happen in Canada. My best travelling experience was crusing around the world in 102 days on board Peace Boat's 76th Global Peace Voyage. It was a life-changing experience and something I could've never imagined being a part of.
