About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn, grow and become a better me every day

ABOUT ME

I am curious, friendly and open-minded person who loves travelling, meeting new people and sharing experiences. I'm also a weird combination of sarcastic realist who love's to critisize and make jokes from everything around and especially myself and naive optimist who ambitiously believes that making a world a better place to live is something I can and have to do.

I am tolerant and genuinly curious about different ideas, identities, oppinions, lifestyles and lifechoices, but I can hardly tolerate intolerance and injustice - homophobics, anti-feminists, xenophobics, stubborn snobs are not really my type.

PHILOSOPHY

"If you want to be happy - be"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel quite often, so I mostly participate in CS by being hosted by really great and awesome people. But when capable I'm really willing to host someone too :) Also, even when I travel with bigger group of friends and choose to stay at hostels for that reason, I usually try to go to CS local meetings and get to know other travellers as well as locals .CS is a really great and inspiring community of people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had first tried couch surfing spring 2012- we were 6 students gang traveling to congress in Denmark and on the way through Poland slept at awesome host's place. Also I had been to CS meeting in Madrid where I met lot's of CS local members and realised how wonderful this idea is.Since then I had some more amazing CS experiences in Ukraine, Slovakia, Estonia, Scotland and also hosted some people at my place in Kaunas.

Interests

Literature, including prose, poetry and creative writing,
Art and theatre- modern and traditional, conceptual,
Travelling - seeing new places and faces, getting lost in cities I don't know, exploring natural world, meeting people.
Psychology - mainly clinical and social,
Social Impact - volunteering in Social Impact Initiative team by EFPSA, currently working on campaign aiming to decrease stigma of mental disorders "Mind the Mind".
Volunteering - I've been involved in many voluntary based student NGOs and see volunteerism as a great way of self development while contributing to some good aim.

Some more amazing stuff in my life - getting involved in EFPSA (student NGO providing me plenty of opportunities to travel and meet tons of amazing people) and also lovely 5 months in ERASMUS in Slovakia .

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play those 3 songs I know on piano, how to bend out winch origami, tell one german poem or knit a scarf.

I'd like to learn how to get into better relationship with my computer and technique in general :D Also, every valuable life lesson you might have to offer.

I can share what as a psychology student I will read in your mind :D just kidding, but i think every person has something valuable to share or teach you, just need to find a right approach :) Obviously I can share some good stories and lots of smiles.
