CURRENT MISSION

I would like to understand some of the underlying patterns of human behaviours regarding figurative art, narrations and the whole idea of faith, in order to prove the necessity of visual narratives for the development of humanity and civilisations.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Monza, 12 kms up from Milan. It's a city famous for Teodolinda's Iron Crown, and for the Formula One circuit inside the huge, beautiful park.
Not a bad city after all, just a bit boring.

After high school I moved to Florence to keep on my art studies, got my bachelor with not too many worries, after which I had to come back home and work at my family's newsagent's for most than a year, due to dad's health problems.
Done that I moved to Berlin, hoping to set in there, but it didn't work out well, so now I am back in Florence, where I am studying for a Master's degree in painting, found a position as drawing instructor and practice my art.

I basically want to be an art related person, and my personality shaped itself around this goal.
I love paintings, art, I am passionate about humanities; I try to read as much as I can (most of what I read comes from social media though, duh, gotta back to books ASAP), and I try to design my path in the art world trough teaching, painting and writing.

My final goal would be to direct a huge place somewhere in which art related traditions are kept, studied and furthered on; where young artists could be trained in the "old ways" and tasked to improve their techniques to meet new imcoming eras' technical requirments.
After Elon Musk will colonize Mars, there gotta be someone to do art up there trying to hold on the more human side of humanity, for it to not forget where it popped out from.

I am an easy going person. That's all.

Love to eat, drink, smoke and sleep well. Other human beings are curious. Drawing and painting are my field of studies. Sometimes I travel. Sometimes I take drugs.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to read a lot when I was a child, now I'm reading just what I find necessary for my personal growth. A very few fiction. History of Art and Philosophy manuals, as well as more technical books are among my most common readings.

I deeply respect music.
Being a sort of internalized drama kind of person, I love Metal (from the most refined, extreme genres to the tackier ones); my second type of music would be electronic (Berlin Techno uber alles) but I also go into Jazz, some Blues and Classical Music (middle age music also rocks!).

I love visionary movies, but I really watch everything.
Still loving cartoons.
