ABOUT ME
I'm a Half Dutch, half German girl and I've been living in Leiden for three years now. I grew up in the south of the Netherlands, which is called Limburg, near the town of Maastricht.
At the moment I'm mostly being a typical student (major in Egyptology, minor in journalism). I work in a bar (which I really love!), hang out in bars a little, go to parties (love to dance!), I talk a lot (really, a LOT), I like to write, but I really love to, again, talk, and I love my friends, couldn't live without them (and again there is a lot of talking involved), I dream, fantasize about the future, make plans, never execute them, I start a lot of things, never finish anything, but wish I would. I try to listen as much music as I can, but I always find out it's impossible to keep up with all the new music that comes out every day. And I really love my life.

PHILOSOPHY
Heb lief!
That's Dutch for to love. Love everybody and everything, if not your boyfriend than your cat or the chocolate bar you just bought. Try to enjoy rather than criticize, there are so many people who forget that and just miss out on the best part of life: living.
Anyway, works for me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: the only music I REALLY don't like is hiphop and r&b. Besides that I can listen to almost everything, but preferably indie, classic rock, alternative rock, electronic, techno, dance... Take a look at http://www.last.fm/user/ringie, you'll see.
Movies: anything, but I'm not really into actionmovies or those horrible romantic-comedy-things. I like scary movies!
Books: I don't read as much as I would want to, but I love to read and I read a lot of different sorts of books. When I read, at least.
