About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"I can't see the future, but I know it's watching me..."

ABOUT ME

That would take too long.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a world traveler (how fun to say)! I am open to new and exciting things. I have done my fair share of couch surfing (see below) back in the day. Now that I have my tiny apartment, I am offering floor space when I can to the weary, wayward traveler.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

More like meeting people from the internet I'd never seen before -- this started back around the turn of the millenium, before your myspaces and facebooks. Ontario, North Carolina, Germany, New Jersey. You get the idea.

visited 36 states (72%)

Interests

My interests are only limited by my imagination. I craft with my hands a lot, whether it be carpentry, jewelry making, or screenprinting. I love knowledge and thus reading on topics from neuroscience to the qu'ran. I enjoy playing music, and have taught myself how to play bass, guitar, drums, keys, and more. There's always more to learn, see, and do! And traveling! My dream jobs involve traveling. Any time I can see a new place, whether it be the old cobbled streets of New Orleans or the ancient karst peaks and wild forests in ZhangZhaJie, China, I'm always up for adventure! Not unlike a pirate!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being in a crowd of nearly one million people in New York protesting the Iraq War right before it began. Watching NYPD beat innocent people under the mad glowing lights and advertisements of Times Square. Oh yeah, did I mention I was tripping?

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know what to put here. I am pretty handy, and can do basic repairs in houses and on cars. I was in Scouts for a long time so I have lots of outdoors skills including survival stuff. Currently I'm focusing a lot on becoming well-versed in post-Islam middle eastern history, from Morocco to Turkey to Pakistan.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar, Switzerland, Turkey, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, United States
