ABOUT ME

I am interested in learning and sharing information about all things natural, including Indigenous Peoples, Plants, Minerals, and Wildlife. I am dedicated to protecting these gifts that are being exploited and squandered by our human race. My varied interests have always led me to the wilderness, I love to hiking, camping, swimming, boating, and anything outdoors. Hope to sail around the world one day. I am also at home in the city, love art museums, live music and dancing.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a spiritual person but don't follow any one tradition or practice, I learn from them all and follow the four agreements as best I can. I prefer the path of the peaceful warrior. I was a vegetarian for 9 years but found I am much healthier when i eat some meat, mostly chicken and fish.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My house in Raleigh has a pull out couch in the living room. I love to garden and cook! The house is full of friendly young eCo-centric Artists and performers. We are big into circus arts, juicing, sprouting, dance jams, etc.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have traveled all over the US. in my converted school bus that is a home on wheels, but often will stay with friends when I am on the road. I am looking forward to expanding that circle. I recently stayed with a sweet Columbian man in Puerto Rico. Had a great experience and am looking forward to meeting new people around the world.

I have danced a native Shoshone dance called the Naraya for the past 7 years, been apart of a sweat lodge community, lived in Hawaii for 2 years,
Studied Ho a Pono Pono Traditional Hawaiian Healing and Lomi Lomi Massage. I have seen a Nightime Rainbow, Lava flowing into the Ocean, Swam with Dolphins, Sharks, and Manta Rays. Been on two different Vision Quests, and sat in Native Ameriacan church meetings.
