About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a 24 year old who cannot stop travelling. My first trip was 3 months around south-east asia and then in 2014 I spent 7 months making my way through South America. For 2016, I have been on erasmus in Lund, Sweden since January and now I have a month left of travelling around Europe before I go back to Australia to finish off my Master in Urban Planning.
I've had a few jobs in the past, bartending, urban planning and tennis coaching. I am a very curious person and I love learning new things. I also always look for the best in people and I am a very positive person. I'm also very respectful and considerate of those around me. I like to feel that people around me are comfortable and relaxed because then I can be too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch surfing to try and find like-minded people in foreign cities. I've done quite a lot of traveling over the last few years and I always find that my best experiences are the ones that are shared with locals.
My favourite thing about couch surfing is that it takes travelling back to its roots. It allows both locals and travellers the opportunity to get to learn something new and hear different perspective on things. I like to think of couchsurfing as the type of travelling people used to do before there were hotels and hostels and you had to go out and meet the local people if you wanted a roof over your head. I only ever hear of good experiences with couch surfing so I cannot wait to discover some more for myself!
Interests
I've got a degree in urban design and planning - this basically means I love travelling and seeing cities, towns and suburbs from a locals perspective. I love watching how people interact with their landscape and I am always eager to learn new things.
I love being outdoors, exploring and adventuring and I'm a very hands on type of person that doesn't mind if things aren't always perfect - because then if they were, they probably wouldn't be interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Reached the summit of a 6090m peak outside the city of Arequipa in Peru. We started walking at 12am and reached the peak by 7.30am to watch the sunrise. There was very very little oxygen and it was absolutely freezing cold. The struggle to get up and then back down before the weather turned was truly amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a keen eye for design and I'm always looking to make different aspects of our lives more personable. I can teach people many things and help them out with most situations - it just depends on what you need!
