About Me

You are welcome to step into my world, and have a chat. By the way, I'd like to share some of my practice with you. It's about free-thinking, facing fears and to live life as a gift. It's about staying in tune with one's self. It's also an invitation to do it.

It was in 2009 when I freed myself from some of the chains imposed by the fictional reality - or "virtual insanity" - I was raised into. By that time, living in Rio and after finally graduating in finance, I quit a "promising job" (not for me) and started a journey into the realms of the unknown. Once more I was deciding to face tremendous expectations and fears, externally projected on me, and of course, of my own.

It can be really tough to allow some relationships and some aspects of yourself to die. And at the beginning it was hard, just like a natural birth it will probably be painful. But it's worth a try. Anything that puts you in touch with who you really are, is worth it. How many rebirths should we need to get to the core? But first of all, do we allow ourselves enough freedom to die and be reborn whenever it feels like?

Why not? It's just great to start co-creating a new reality, being supported by something you feel you are in the mood of doing. Everything else comes naturally! There's no path to follow other than being in touch with the most true self you are able to be. It doesn't matter the way you choose for doing it, as long as you really feel in touch with yourself, right?

At least that's how it happened with me. I just put my heart on the road and life started to share all the things (trips, shelter, food, courses, workshops, births and more rebirths...) I needed in order to keep learning and thriving. All I had to do was to put myself open and in tune with my natural flow of doing things and allow life to do the rest.

And that's how my own path leaded me to yoga and massage therapy, which I've been totally passionate for 5 years now (my website is http://www.massagenando.com/). Since then I consider I've been truly living life from the heart, or as a gift, simply because even the sufferings started to be welcome whenever they were coming to the light of counsciousness.

Today my aim is to keep mind and body in balance and share the best I can with the world around, because I realised that for me life is all about interactions while also in silence. My aim is to help people to heal and balance themselves, because I believe self-empowerment is the key for the moment society lives right now. And everything gets better if you have your own balancing up to date. Just like in finance. :)

I enjoy making massages and other therapy sessions under a totally flexible suggested price or a donation based value, because it allows anyone to get access to it. There's "debt based" monetary and financial system out there not allowing many people to see beyond money - it's called the modern slavery system. And because every sharing already counts, I keep deciding to open my heart to the universe pool game.

After reading this, please, get in touch if you feel like having some realises in your body (muscle stiffness, back pain, achings, hidden stress signals...), some Sound and Energetic Healing, and/or some Yoga hints to balance your body and allow your mind to follow it... to begin the contemplation and appreciation of the sufferings and joys that come to light. "It's only sensations", Buda would say :) It's provisory, it's impermanent. But there's something beyond it, and sometimes you have to be a little bit persistent in order to experience it.

Let's join forces. I invite you to fulfill this challenging quest of, in Gandhi's words, being yourself the revolution you want to the world, right here, right now. To look for where the shadows and fears are. To face it. To do whatever it feels necessary to get the freedom back from the prevailing belief system you imposed on yourself. Your ego veils, ancored by your memory. Shall we just fully live our gifts in contact with our true selves.

Namaste.

Nandi Deva.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I fully believe in the power of exchanging and sharing. I did a lot of couchsurfing in India and Nepal, but me and my wife used her profile. I've also hosted many many couchsurfers in shared houses I lived in. For now I'm living in Paraty-RJ and we have a cave to share. That's exactly that, a cave, with infrastructure (light, water, toilet, stove...). We have our house just next to it, but we also rent the cave in order to make it avaiable for friends and travelers, once Paraty-RJ is a very touristic spot. The plan is not to carry the bills on our back but to share it too. We proposed a very small fee (suggested, but not limiting) for campers and there's also a room with toilet (and warm shower) avaiable also for a generous fee. If you want to make some nice contribution for the space or have a therapy session with me (my website is here: http://www.massagenando.com/), you don't need to contribute with anything else.
