Hi, my name is Risa!

My husband Kazuma and I traveled around the world from Sep 2022 until Mar 2024 (1.5 years). Now our next adventure is to move to Spain and open an “Onigiri restaurant”! 🇪🇸🍙
(Onigiri is our soul food that has a history of more than 3,000 years! It’s a rice ball with seaweed around it and some kind of ingredients such as vegetables, meat and fish inside. Yes it’s like a sandwich but made of rice!)

I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan but also had an opportunity to live in Madison, New Jersey and Berkeley, California as an exchange student when I was in High School and College respectively. (Rotary Youth Exchange program 2012-13)

We are outdoor sports lovers, foodies, and curious travelers who like to try new things and make new friends ! 😆

Soy Risa de Japón.🇯🇵

Mi esposo Kazuma y yo viajamos por el mundo como luna de miel desde septiembre de 2022 hasta marzo de 2024. Ahora nuestra próxima aventura es mudarnos a España y abrir un “restaurante de Onigiri” 🇪🇸🍙
(Onigiri es nuestra comida para el alma que tiene la historia de más de 3.000 años! Es una bola de arroz envuelto en alga Nori y algún tipo de ingredientes como verduras, carne y pescado dentro. ¡Es como bocadillo pero está hecho de arroz!)

Nací y crecí en Tokio, Japón, pero también tuve la oportunidad de vivir en los Estados Unidos durante 2 años como estudiante de intercambio.

¡Nos gustan los deportes al aire libre, la naturaleza y las comidas deliciosas!
Nos encanta probar cosas nuevas y hacer nuevos amigos ! 😆
