About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet more amazing people from around the world
ABOUT ME
I am a ceramic artist (see http://ri-creations.com) and my partner Neil is a scientist working in bio-medical imaging information management and computation. I also have a background in welfare and teaching and Neil's previous career was in astrophysics. We both enjoy music, dancing and the arts in general. We love to meet people and share stories, food and wine .We have hosted many visitors over the years and finally we got to travel again in 2011 and cs for the first time and loved it, meeting the most gorgeous people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have had a number of visitors to Australia come and stay with us. Although we were not part of the CS project at the time, some of the visitors were. We met them either through friends (some of whom were part of CS) or sometimes we met them on camping trips and invited them to stay with us for a few days.
So we have met some lovely people in this way.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have stayed with two hosts, a gorgeous couple in Barcelona and fabulous Sandra in Lisbon. We have had singles and couples, mainly Dutch, German and French come to stay, due to my family background and Neils Astronomy contacts.
