I'm a cheerful extrovert, with an overzealous urge to see the world. I live in New Delhi, with my family comprising of parents, grandparents, the best sister anyone could have ever asked for, and a cat, which true to her nature, doesn't reciprocate the love she receives.
I thoroughly enjoy water sports, running, reading, card games and most of all, meeting amazing new people. I have an intense passion for food (dream vacation - "food travelling" across Vietnam for 6 months, trying all the amazing local cuisine.)
I try to stay creative by indulging in creative writing and comedy, as well as dabble with music and art (in my own limited way I admit!)

Current Goal - 30 under 30 - to have visited 30 countries before the age of 30!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Based on personal experience, there are two sides to every place - the one you read about on Google, and the one known only to those that have lived there. While I do not discredit the Google version, I do believe that visiting a place means learning about its true spirit. By being on CS, I hope to meet wonderful people in all sorts of places, and through amazing conversation and mutual cultural exchange, get to know them and the city they hail from.

Also, having worked for an organization that facilitates exchange programs for students in different countries, I have come to realize the true value of knowing someone who has had different experiences, different upbringing and different ideas.
