I’m not sure where to put my “home” location… been a wandering spirit for a long time. The two homes that I know the best are India and the United States, but I have a practice of making the place my feet touch the ground my home.

This includes communing with the people I find around me and having a sense of community whether we will know one another for a lifetime or just for the present moment. I have made travel friends that I’ve seen every year since we’ve met, and I have made some that I hold a strong love for even if we may never meet again.

Ultimately I believe every person has a natural spark that makes them come alive and I find myself ever curious to witness and hold this spark with them. This curiosity is my spark. I hope we get a chance to share in it together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I miss the old days of Couchsurfing… everything felt so abundant and people really showed up for one another. I’m here to try and continue that energy despite the ever changing world around us. This feels like one of the most positive ways to meet people from a large variety of backgrounds.

I’m a huge fan of movies, especially the older slower paced ones. I grew up with music so I have a strong affinity for it. And I am constantly reading… it is one of the joys of travel.

If we share time together, I would gladly watch a movie together and discuss it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting sober is the hardest thing I’ve ever done and the thing I’m most proud of today. It is the reason I am able to live my life as myself and share my joy with the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a personal art practice and love making art with people on the road. I also offer tarot readings — though I’m very secular about it. The cards, at least the way I read them, can’t tell you the future!

I am hungry for information, especially about people, so let’s bond over what excites you!
