Overview
About Me
I like adventure travel and vlog about it. When I'm in town, I'm spend my off time rock climbing in and outdoors, painting, and dancing (house, Latin, hip hop). If you dance or climb, we will likely have to hang out while you're here!
Some notes for couchsurfers: I may be petsitting a dog (pug) that sheds quite a bit. He also really likes strangers, which some people can find annoying. You have to be OK with this. I generally prefer solo travellers or at least not couples. I work from home, so if I'm vlogging, you have to head out.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've travelled a lot, and have experienced TONS of generosity from people I've met abroad, especially if I speak a bit of their language. I definitely want to pay it forward and let some people couchsurf at my place, and meet interesting travellers to inspire my next journey. Specifically, I'm looking to couchsurf around Europe. I backpacked through Europe before, but I never got to see it through the eyes of locals, so this time around, I think couchsurfing would make my experience much better.
Interests
Rock climbing, park/pipe snowboarding, inline, slacklining, painting, photography, house dance, Latin dance, street dance, epic travel, YOUR super awesome travel stories!
Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly biographies and business development type books. I currently like listening (and dancing) to house music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed a 500m vertical cliff in El Portrero Chico, Mexico in one day. What a dream.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like learning languages - I speak English, Cantonese, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish. Like most Canadians, I read French well, but am not as good conversationally. I can teach dance (street, Latin). If I have free time, I take most of my guests rock climbing and dancing. I switch between quietly working hard and extreme adventure.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm well-versed in a bunch of sports (rock climbing, snowboarding, inline), I speak many languages, I'm a part-time artist, I dance, and I play a few instruments. But mostly, I just like talking about travel and hearing about other people's awesome adventures.
