My name is Rita and I am from the sunny Portugal.

I've always loved travelling... but my Erasmus in Pavia, Italy (2013) woke up a very very hungry travel bug!! :D

Ever since then, I cannot be without travelling for a long time.

I'm currently living in Cambridge UK, starting a PhD in biology. Surely will be growing some grey hairs soon...!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It looks like a great way for meeting new and awesome people, new cultures and, of course, travel a lot more while being on a budget. ;)

Interests

I like going to concerts of my favorite bands, watching great movies and series, and hanging out!

I believe that as people evolve, so their interests change a bit... So, to me, it is not easy to find a favorite anything. I am always discovering new things which steal my heart for some time, and then something else overpowers it afterwards :)
