Hi!
My name is Rita and I am currently working in the German media, volunteering for a student cinema festival and doing political education with the younger generations.
Almost a decade ago I got a green light for travelling and since then going around different places has become a vital part of my life. For me, travelling is a bit more than staying in a hotel and sightseeing. I tend to be more on the extravert side, which means, if I'm going somewhere, the first thing I want to know is people. To spend time with someone who is friendly and open, explore some hidden corners of cities and towns - that's about me! Besides, I have a huge interest in European languages and cultures, especially German, which also makes me a good interlocutor.

Love classic jazz (especially live!), 80s synth and some other musical dinosaurs.

I am also a cineast and mostly love arthouse, especially different new wave films frow Europe. My favourite directors are Payal Kapadia and Ryusuke Hamaguchi. Favourite films include Past Lives, The Cranes are Flying, Der Himmer über Berlin, All We Imagine As Light and Drive My Car.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Volunteered at concentration camp memorials multiple times, hitchiked around Europe, rode 130 km on a bike in two days... quite a lot!

My biggest passions include music, film, history and literature. I am always happy to share my favourite songs, tell some stories or discuss books and films.
