About Me

Arts enthusiast, passionate about music and photography, I believe that we are here for a reason and it's up to us to find its meaning and make the most out of it.

Not particularly known for thinking before actually making decisions, I'm always learning from my own mistakes and then make the same ones again (Portuguese expression for that "bater com a cabeça na parede")

Mission: I want to create a travelling diary where I write about all travels, adventures, hiccups (not literally hiccups, more like difficulties or "pedras no caminho") and share those adventures with future generations whenever some 20y old person states "I have a job, it's time to settle down and have routines." Believe it or not, I was that person.

Philosophy: Live life to its fullest. Make stupid decisions. Regret them later. Remember them forever. Not regret even one of them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been living in Portugal all my life and decided I want to make a change.

My first experience abroad was when I was 19, travelled to Poland for one week and stayed at a local's family house. It was not only my first week at a different country but the best week of my life where I not only got to know a different culture, learnt a few words in polish and definitely made friends for life! The hosts were amazing, they treated me as part of their own family and I will never be able to thank them enough for receiving me in their house so well.

After that experience I haven't travelled more to be honest but started to feel like there was something missing. That the time passes by so quickly and I'm not living my life fully.

Couchsurfing to me is the best way to travel abroad since it brings up the best of both worlds. You get to know different places but at the same time, you're not on your own, you get a real adventure outside your comfort zone and learning a different culture. That's something really fulfilling and unforgettable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learnt to set free everything and everyone and started to live by the thought:“If you love something set it free. If it comes back it’s yours. If not, it was never meant to be.”

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play guitar and piano if you're interested!
Not to mention, Portuguese and the best portuguese expressions! :D

I'm always up to learn new things! Dare me! :)

The best thing someone can share with me it's their life story and what brought them to be who they are now. We are all so unique and special due to personal experiences we have in life, there's no such thing as 'knowing everything' or 'being right or wrong'.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share portuguese recipes, great relaxing music and how meditation heals even the worst hangover ever :P

Life to me is all about sharing histories and crossing with eachother's paths.
