About Me

MISSION: Live life as much as you can!

ABOUT ME:

HELLOOOO! :D

I'm from Faro, Portugal, born and raised here and it's with pleasure that I show you my city. However, right now I'm not actually living here. I've been living in Poland for the past 1 year and an half and now I'm back to Portugal just to organize a couple of things because in the next months I'll be travelling around Europe. Anyway, I hope that in the future I can host again but now it's my turn to be the guest!

I'm passionate about arts, culture and nature. I would describe myself as an open minded, relaxed and artistic person. I love to create things, from poetry to music to DIY projects and be surrounded by nature and animals. I'm always ready for new experiences and for learning something new. Everything that means packing and travel, I'm up for it! ✈🌎
I'm sure I live for the adventure of meeting new people and cultures, I'm very curious about everything and my dream is to travel around the world and maybe one day open my own Cultural Association, a place to gather arts, people and culture in one.
This year I became a digital nomad so I can explore the world even more and develop my inner being. I want to learn more about sustainable farms, animal care, cities history, living with local families, rebuilding houses and much more, which is why I'm also on Workaway and traveling as a volunteer. I want to grow with the world and learn from it and from everyone while I also share my part with them.

PHILOSOPHY

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.”
"Seize the day."
"Don't worry Be happy" ☮❤

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I think this is the best way to learn, teach and grow up. Meet someone with different goals, lifestyles and mindsets. Having different conversations that we are used to and share stories we never thought we could hear. Couchsurfing is about making friends and not just give a home. I'm able to give you everything I have and I just ask for respect and kindness :)

Interests

I play piano, guitar and ukulele and that's how I spend my free time, also singing and writing (mostly poetry). The little things I love the most are long night conversations, ☕, the🌙 and the 🌊.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is definitely one of the things that I LOVE the most. I'm a huge fan of rock and used to do concerts where I played some Guns and Roses, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyed, Bob Dylan, Arctic Monkeys, etc.
I'm also a fan of Blues, R&B/Soul, Indie and Alternative such as Chris Stapleton, Kaleo, Tame Impala, FKJ, Masego, etc.

Movies/Series: Into the Wild, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Karate kid, Life is Beautiful, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Breaking Bad, How I Met Your Mother, Daredevil, American Horror Story, Modern Family (...)

Books: I could tell you but portuguese books are my favorite, however "Milk and honey" and "Everything is Fucked" were some of the ones that I've loved the most and that I keep until today.
