I'm Rita, a young chef about to open a restaurant in the portuguese country side. I just moved back to Portugal after living in London for a bit. I'm gonna miss the crazyness of East London but I'm sure I'll return soon!

I'm moving to Ericeira with my british boyfriend who doesn't speak a word of portuguese so it'd be cool to maybe meet other expats to hang out with, practice languages with and maybe share some food!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once took 3 days off from work and, after working a 70 hour week, hopped on a plane with two friends to go to Sweden for dinner.

None of us slept before our flight, we were working all night. We landed in Oslo, took a second flight to Trondheim, rented a car and drove two hours to Åre. Drove around this very small town for about two hours to find our bungalow. They all look exactly the same!

The next day we went for dinner at Fäviken (best meal of my life) and then, after passing out at the bungalow from a food comma, we made our way back to Trondheim and then London.

Going back to work the next day was not fun!
