About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To take a big juicy bite out of life!

ABOUT ME

I'm in the middle of an almost 6 month trip around the globe.. I took off March 11th.
I've recently quit my job of ten years (Australian telco Telstra) which has given me the freedom to go out and find out what life is like outside of a 9-5 existence..

I like to think I'm a considerate, polite and easy going person. I love conversations that make me think and hypothesise especially over a drink or two..

I'm extremely open to all cultures and beliefs. Everyone has the right to believe what they want.. I want to meet more people who can open my eyes up to what else is out there...

I love new experiences.. If you ask me if I want to do something the answer will generally be yes.

Some things I've done and enjoyed:

Scuba dived at the Great Barrier Reef off Port Douglas
Acted as an extra in Australian TV drama "Rush" (Acting is not for me)
Played bass in an original band, made an EP and film clip played some of Melbourne's best venues.
Made music video's and promo's for many bands
Seen countless live rock gigs areana's festivals, pubs.. My favourite are small pubs with a handfull of punters..
I enjoy live rock photography.
Shot a short film
Bought a house
Run my own Video production company.
I'm interested in website creation, I run a couple. but that seems a lifetime ago.
I go to the AFL Footy when I can (Melbourne Demons!)
Driven from Melbourne to Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Tasmania(sort of) many times. I highly recommend driving between Australia's cities mainly just to get a feel of how big this country is..

I love going to horse/dog racing tracks in new towns.. I've been to the following horse racing tracks in Australia:
Flemmington, Caulfield, Moonee Valley, Sandown,Yarra Glen, Sale, Cranbourne, Randwick, Penrith, Sunshine Coast, Doomben, Eagle Farm, Darwin, Cheltenham, Morphetville.

PHILOSOPHY

Believe and make it happen.. If you don't know what it is, then put yourself somewhere strange and it may appear... but it is not on your own couch.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted several people since signing up and it's a real joy to meet like minded people.
I'm now on the road and looking forward to meeting more like minded people in their own home town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

this is an amazing concept. My experiences so far is that good people attract good people..

Hosting is like having a holiday without leaving the comfort of your house and surfing is THE best way to see a new place.

I can't wait to return to home and continue hosting some more amazing people.
