About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I hope to choose what to really study for, aiming eventually for graduation, but also to just be happy.
ABOUT ME
An only child, I spent my childhood in a fairly small and idyllic town, figuring ways to spend time and enjoying it on my own: reading, school... For upper secondary (lukio; gymnasiet) I moved to Vasa for IB school. The experience of moving away from home at 16 was a very important one for me, I think. It also cushioned the change when I continued to university right afterwards. I enrolled in International law at Ãâ¦bo Akademi three years ago.
My studies are right now on hold as I am working in three shifts in Salo.
From an active participant in Amnesty International, the Red Cross, and pacifist-, antifascist-, animal rights networks, I have now become quite homely. I suppose there is a time for everything, be it active participation or just cocooning to find out what's best for you.
PHILOSOPHY
I think making moral choices and redefining yourself through action will shape your life. I want to be a better person every day, and for me choosing a personal relationship with faith is a profound existential question.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Not much, just learning and looking around right now!. I have been able to surf couches on my two trips to Paris, France, and that I am intensely glad about.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been blessed to have enjoyed the hospitality of people, traveling to see friends I previously only wrote e-mails to. It's amazing to look back at all the different experiences and amazing people CS helps bring together!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seen and been a part of a new peace movement arising, been able to participate in movements which tangibly change the world.
... and I've been to Iceland... and witnessed my dear close ones, among friends and among family, get married, have children... And every day I wake up, something aamzing happens!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach:
My languages, some vegan cooking, or maybe we can go dumpster diving and have a feast, or put my sewing machines to good use. You'll be introduced to IRC and StepMania, as well as some partially picked highlights of Japanese popular culture. I love art history, history in general, storytelling.
