ABOUT ME

I'm a 22 year old Dunedin girl from a place called Broad Bay, on the peninsula of Dunedin. This is a special place for me and has given me a good set of eyes to explore Europe, I think... I like to get to know a place locally if I can, see/eat/do what people actually do in a place. I like to read and write creatively, draw and lie and/or dance on grass for fun-especially at festivals.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to experience the now, live by my own morals and values, listen and be open to each person individually and follow passions. Do what makes me happy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just joined couch surfing recently, when I left New Zealand. I've got friends who are members so have met a few cool surfers in Dunedin and will warmly host when I am home.

Interests

Art, cooking, swimming in the sea, dancing, listening to music at festivals, in the kitchen and in the car actually a lot. Drawing, sitting in the sun, geting creative, reading, taking photos and creative writing. And, ofcourse, hanging out with friends and generally fun people.

TV on the radio, Radiohead, The Shins, Angus and Julia Stone, Beruit, The Biff Merchants, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bill Callahan, Fleet foxes, Beck, Grizzley bear... Pulp fiction, La Vi en Rose, The brothers bloom, Alice in Wonderland. I have to add The Sopranos, and Six feet under. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swam with dolphins in Curio bay, Catlins, New Zealand. That was incredible seeing all the markings on their skin up so close, they swam, flipped and danced about us.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you how to make a daisy chain if thats not too silly. Make muesli, bread, soup and more. I'd like to learn Spanish.... and yoga.
