About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore, travel and experience life to the fullest

ABOUT ME

I want to experience life, to be truly alive instead of floating through with nothing to show for it. Thus I am a man of many talents and interests. I don't let small nuisances bother me. I'm quick to discussions, and I will play the devils advocate just so that I can learn more about the opposing arguments. I am up for anything, as long as i'm learning I'm happy. I work as a Nurse in Ann Arbor and love every second of my job. I enjoy helping and caring for people.

If there is anything else you want to know just ask. I am an open book and enjoy the company of others.

I look forward to traveling meeting new people and sharing the culture of my hometown with you.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is hard, but even in the most boring tasks something new can be learned or experienced. Hard work is essential to obtain the moments where I can break out and experience new, beautiful and intriguing life moments.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been to several Couch Surfing events and have actually couchsurfed in Paris when backpacking through Europe. I just recently opened up my home and I'm looking forward to meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Paris a couple years ago and the experience was amazing. Me and my ex wife stayed with Marc Girot's family in 2014. The reference is on my ex's profile, Kelli Rittenberry, but here it is copied and pasted
"Kelli and Kevin are a very nice, open-minded and interesting couple. Great experience with the family!".

We stayed for a couple of days, had diner with them and had a wonderful time.

Interests

Anything!
I worked in a coffee house for 3 years so I love coffee.
I rock climb and boulder at the gyms near me not a lot of experience outside though :(
I have a green thumb. So I have a basic garden in our back yard.
Anything DIY I love to make stuff and take it apart just to see how it works.
I like being outside and I've recently started hunting and fishing a lot more.

I think the moment we stop learning and being curious is the moment when we are no longer alive. So really everything is my interests.
Teach me what you know ! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

White water rafting and camping in West Virginia on the New River.

I spent New Years eve and day in Key West, Florida with no prior planning I slept in the car hung out with the locals and enjoyed the trip.

Spent a week in Mayan Riviera, Mexico were I went hiking, tubing, sailing and snorkeling. The most memorable moment is when I decided I wanted to go to Playa del Carmen so wIwalked out to the highway to the bus stop hoped on and headed out. When it started to get dark I walked back to a bus stop to find out that the buses stopped running an hour before. So with a very limited spanish vocabulary I talked to some people I meet, flagged down a cab, and found my way back to the resort. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to Juggle or how to complete a Front 1 1/2 dive tuck or pike off of a spring board. If that isn't interesting then we could brew our own beer. I could also teach you CPR and first aid skills.
