A lover of cultures, languages and a lot more in between, I left home at the age of 18 and since have found a home in unexpected places around the world. I have lived in the UK, Japan, Germany and Belgium in the past 4 years.
After a year of juggling between a 9-5 and completing my masters thesis, I have finally settled in Brussels with a job that I am absolutely in love with. When I am not working, books, movies and language learning keeps me company.
For some one who doesn't like to eat that much, I do love cooking. I like to explore cuisines of different countries.
My parents introduced me to Bharatnatyam - an Indian classical dance form, when I was 3 years old and since then dance has been my expression.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have moved around a lot of places and it always excites me to meet new people and hear their perspectives on aspects of life. I am on couch surfing to connect with people who are on the same path in life as myself and share some good conversation.

Interests

I am in love with all things artistic. I am a trained Indian classical dancer and a theater performer. I love to watch performances in both theater and dancing. I thoroughly enjoy musicals. I love visiting museums and admiring art in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

Radiohead is one of my favourite bands at the minute for the quality of their lyrics. I love poetry and think of music as modern poetry. Also like The smiths for the same reason.
Movies: theory of everything, the god father trilogy, lord of the rings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkeling with seals in South Africa in their natural habitat and fought with locals to get penguins some privacy.
