ABOUT ME

I live alone. I have 3 daughter and 10 grandchildren. I like sport, theatre, computer, books and I am an open minded person, interested to know other people, to learn
from them, to discover a part of their world. I love nature and feel
extremely well outdoors but can enjoy
a long evening on a couch or cooking and eating together.

PHILOSOPHY

Do not do to others what you do not want to do unto you.
Always try to help, to whom you are able to help.
Helping another get-more than you give.

Shalom! I am very glad to participate in this interesting project named "Couchsurfing". It helps to open people's mind, houses and hearts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled with CS in Baltic states, Scandinavia and
Poland with CS. I met a lot of nice people, and one of them will visit
me in two weeks.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many...Classic music. I am pleased to hear Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Vivaldi and others. In a good performance like listening to opera, operetta.
I love the saxophone Armstrong, violin L. Cohen, and others.I love also Jazz and most good Folk Music from all over the world.

Historical literature, the life of remarkable people, such as Victor Hugo's novels.
Lobsang Rampa read with pleasure. Poetry is my weakness, I love Tsvetaeva Mandelshtampa ...
Botecheli, Dürer, Claude Manet, Yavlinsky, Picasso, Rodin, Aivazovsky, Rembrandt.
I hope to see more Velaskisa Prado.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most memorable that I've seen in travel and that made me rethink a lot has happened in Mombae, India.
On the waterfront Shapati (so it seems it's called) in the evening in 2003, under a tree on the rug sat a young woman, and next to two sleeping baby and two dogs were sitting.
Were people around, it's not a poor district of the city, avoided rug and moved on.I decided to help her. She went and sat down, we began to talk, but when I handed her money parting it did not take them. You do not realize that I have everything I need. I am a happy man.
I am to this day, though many years have passed, extract a lesson from the passing of the meeting. Theoretically understand

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a guide in the Israeli Museum of Jewish Diaspora (Beit haTfuzot). I can guide you there and to tell you a lot about the Jewish history.
I can teach to knit, sew, cook and bake. I have an interesting selection of dishes for different occasions and in different products
