My name is River, and I’m a 28-year-old traveler from China.

I’m currently on my second-year Working Holiday Visa and have spent the past year and a half working, living, and exploring the eastern coast of Australia, despite traveling back and forth to my hometown, Hangzhou, several times. From Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef all the way to Melbourne, I’ve embraced the diverse experiences this country has to offer. About a month ago, I completed my job as a housekeeper at Longitude 131 in Uluru and am now setting out to explore the western side of this beautiful continent, starting with Perth. While in Perth, I’m also hoping to find a new job, if possible.

I’m generally a quiet and easy-going person,i'm trying to be more expressive and enhancing my English speaking skills. My friends say I’m quite good at cooking. If you’re a fan of Chinese cuisine, I’d love the chance to show off my cooking skills!

I love nature, hiking, snorkeling, and general outdoor activities. I’m excited to hear your tips, stories, and recommendations while learning about the local culture and history.
