I currently live in Portland, Oregon.
I am very passionate about my art form, which is jazz drumming. I have been playing drums for 20 years, and these days I mostly play jazz, but sometimes rock and funk as well.
At my other job, I work as a special education teacher, working with school age children who have learning disabilities. Because I am a teacher, during the summer I love to travel as much as possible!
I’m Jewish and I am married; I live with my husband and 2 cats.
I don’t smoke cigarettes, but I am a social drinker.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had a great experience Couchsurfing in Seattle and got inspired to get more involved in the community. So far I have surfed couches in Seattle, Amsterdam, and Barcelona.

Movies: Soul, Almost Famous, The Science of Sleep. I like funny and inspiring movies. I don’t watch violent or gory material.
Books: Right now reading “The Creative Act: A Way of Being” by Rick Rubin.
