ABOUT ME
Enroute to Standing Rock ♡
New transplant getting ready to move to West Burke in the North East Kingdom!
PHILOSOPHY
There is so much more than meets the eye in this world. Love, compassion, humility and a sense of humor are key. The heart has an intelligence that surpasses the mind & ego. Let us raise our vibrations and shine brightly!
I've learned a lot lately and especially life is a journey, not a destination that is best lived in the present!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Have mostly hosted but surfing a bit. Use to be a part of the local Gunnison Valley group in Colorado. :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great way to create a tighter knit local community and also a great way to introduce & immerse intrepid travelers to our community while learning new things about them!
I especially enjoy group activities such as potlucks, board games, hiking, garden parties & upcycling.
Interests
Nature, indigenous cultures, plants, drums, music, juicing, spirit, capoeira, raw foods, backpacking, mtn biking, permacultre, people, animals, ethnobotany, photography, shamanism, adventures, snowboarding, etc.
I'm going deeper into sustainable living, thinking about community, working on my relationship with food, gaia and being more present in my life.
I am keen on ethnobotany, would like to create or join a small a sustainable homesteading/permaculture/electic community somewhere down the line as a home base while traveling the world, having fun while doing good and making things better for us/our children.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled four hours south of Vera Cruz, Mexico to help build houses in Lake Catemaco. Although too brief, I had an amazing time bonding with the families we collaborated with. It was quite a rich and diversified cultural experience that I still have fond memories of to this day. I didn't get a chance to meet any brujos though.
Burning man holds some special places in my heart as well.
Recently, getting close to spirit with sweat lodge & other forms of prayer.
Every new day is amazing and meeting new lovely people just adds to the beauty, the mystery and the magic of our universe. :0
Teach, Learn, Share
<3 Looking to get deeper into my local terroir while making meaningful connections with travelers and locals.
What I Can Share with Hosts
You can come stay and work at the farm for lodging and some food or maybe just come camp out and hang with my Aussie border collie Tejas! I'll help you plan a hike or bike or maybe meet up for some sun tea. ^__^
