I am a product of perpetual motion. I smile easily, read a lot, and love the ocean. I also have a cat named Scout whom I love very, very much.

PHILOSOPHY

The author of one of my favorite books wrote in its dedication: "even as we are, we are becoming." This always stuck with me, the idea of never being finished, of always being able to change and learn and evolve.

Above everything else, I love things that move me. So that when I hear something or see something or read something I get that feeling that just gets me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been so blessed to have experienced so many amazing things in my relatively short lifetime.

But one of the most profound moments of my life was waking up to the sound of elephants eating across the river from my campsite in Kwazulu-Natal. I will never forget that serenity.
