About Me

I'm a 22 year old designer working in a small town called Takeo in Saga prefecture and been here about 7 months now.

Before Japan I lived in Singapore for 3 years pursuing my Bachelors degree in Product Design. I like to keep moving every few years so I can meet new people and experience a culture very different than my own.

Although Takeo is a small town, it's surrounded by hills and has great food. I'm an avid anything-noodle lover so be prepared to eat some great champon and udon if you crash at my place.

My apartment is a 5 minute walk from Takahashi station and you're welcome to borrow my bicycle to get around town.

I work full-time so I apologise if I can't show you around during weekdays (Weekends are preferred).

Since I plan on staying here till October, I'll be travelling around the country and would love to be hosted by people and learn more about the culture and share our experiences.

I'm spontaneous and love to explore new places so if you're looking for a travel buddy, feel free to contact me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Sam Cooke, The Neighbourhood, Troye Sivan, Bon Iver, Mimicking Birds.

Movies: Anything Woody Allen and ten million movies from the 1960s.

Books: Not much of a reader but just started The Last Tycoon. Suggestions will be appreciated.

TV Shows: Sense 8, Bates Motel, Game of Thrones, Westworld, Black Mirror, That 70s Show (I could keep going but that would take forever)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd say I skydived but as cool as it was I don't find it as amazing as the ten million (this number is a dramatisation) amazing experiences I've had with strangers which I would've never had if I hadn't travelled around.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Hindi and some art and design tips/perspectives.
I'm a curious being so i'm open to learning pretty much anything.
And I can share my culture and stories.
