I'm a farmer, herbalist, plant lover, and (now) pre-health student who's in school again after dropping out to travel the first time around more than 8 years ago. My partner Sam is an artist, labor organizer, and NYC native who is getting his masters degree in experimental film. We will be in Europe for ten days and hope to share time with someone cool who wants to hang out with us in Paris for a day/night and tell us what's up! We love cooking, wine, talking, movies, you name it. Respectful, boisterous, political, ridiculous--we're very easy to get along with, and want to get to know you too. Sam only speaks English, but I've got Spanish and some limited French under my belt.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I (Daria) did a year-long solo trip in South America from age 20 to 21, during which time I did a lot of couchsurfing (along with wwoofing, cycling, camping, hitch hiking, etc). I loved so many of my experiences through this site and think it's such a beautiful way to get to know a place and new people. It wasn't until this trip that I remembered about couchsurfing however many years later. I hope my partner and I can have a similar experience now, and maybe even host in NYC later on if I get him into it. We're just looking to hang out with our kind of freaks!
