Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing by accident, yeah, something like that. One of my friend in office knows that I love to traveling everywhere, so she (yes, a woman) introduce me the Couchsurfing Community and the concept of hosting and surfing. It's very great idea and that's why I'm here.

Interests

I love to travel with public transport and or walking around to enjoy the village/city I'm in during traveling

I also love to visit any historical and or cultural places related to the city/country I visit. Oh, and of course I love to try the local foods as well

As strange as it is, Usually I try to find a public swimming pool or open water during my trip, whether it is just domestic or overseas, just for swim. I just learned how to swim in 2014, and I think I'm addicted to it, despite I think my technique is still far from good, Ahaha

I don't have much leisure time to travel due to my job. So Most of the time I try to arrange a short trip but satisfy my curiousness about the city/country enough.

And I'm not the type that must visit every famous places mentioned in the internets or books during traveling. If I'm not interested, why should bother wasting my money and energy~

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, I listen to the music often, especially to relieving stress during working time. I prefer listen to any genre of instrumental music, including classics. It's not that I'm an expert in classics or something. But instrumental music tends to make me focus on my work better. If I listen to ordinary song with singer, sometimes I end up singing along and delaying my work a little bit, hahaha

Books, I Love Enid Blyton's Books about young travellers, The Five Series, dubbed "Lima Sekawan" in my country

Movies? I love outer space themed film, whether it is old or recent, just like Star Wars series, Interstellar, Martian, and many more. Love the Harry Potter Series and Harry Potter World too, both in Novels and the Films. And recently I find my new interest in Marvel Cinematic Universe~

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've took a ride with most of economy, business, and executive class of Intercity train (about 80-90%) in Java Island, Indonesia. Not a big achievement actually, but it needs a lot of time and rather costly, for the business and executive train is quite expensive compared to another public transport like bus or sometimes LCC aircraft

A conversation and talks at the end of the day, a souvenir, a local snacks from my hometown, sharing my travel tips and experience, and many more
