ABOUT ME

Self-introductions have never been one of my strong points and it really doesn't help knowing that this is going to be displayed somewhere for all to see. Nevertheless, without further ado and prolonging the inevitable, here goes.
I am a walking contradiction at times, in that I can be somewhat of a loner and enjoy being by myself while at other times I'm rather sociable and shockingly talkative. I'm generally averse to classifying and categorizing anything or anyone for that matter because I believe that we all display different characteristics in different situations. When it comes to my career choices, well I've dabbled in many fields, one could say that I am a jack-of-all-trades and hopefully one day, I can master one. I started out studying towards a Medical degree, played around with Actuarial Sciences, dropped out of Uni for a few months. Landed up back at University in Jordan "studying" Arabic and religious studies. After my stint in Jordan, I went back home and registered at Uni to study towards a Teaching degree. Completed my degree, taught in South Africa for while, got bored of the monotony and mundane lifestyle and packed up my bags and decided to experience the world. I'm currently in Spain and teaching English. Ok, my Spiel is over and I think I've gone on far too long. So, yeah my ultimate goal is to travel to as many places as I can and to learn about anything and everything.

PHILOSOPHY

To live life with passion, to drink it to the lees and extract every drop that life has to offer. In short, “to strive, to seek, to find and never to yield.” My take on life is to view every experience as Lord Tennyson puts it best, “as an arch where through gleams that untravelled world whose margin fades forever and forever when I move.” It is my hope that I can experience the world and contribute to it in a positive way.
