Hi there, already pleased to meet you! We are Sumitra and Robert-Jan, a traveling loving couple from the Netherlands. We actually met while Robert was on an overland motorcycle trip from the Netherlands towards India in 2015. Ever since then we have been going back and forth between India and the Netherlands visiting each other and exploring new places together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love meeting new people and experiencing life from a locals perspective. Since we both are from a completely different culture, we would gladly share our stories, insights and cultures with you.

Robert is already on couchsurfing for years; hosting and surfing. Because meeting locals and making new connections is so valuable he gladly wants to share it with me and others.
