About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Looking for a place to fall in love with the landscape and claim as home. I love the Earth and appreciating the landscape with many hikes. I am a farming enthusiast and love permaculture. I am in constant search for the land I will plant my roots!

ABOUT ME

Half-Colombian, half-Polish, american-born freethinker who loves creating things out of ceramics and his plants. I am currently finishing up in S. Korea and making a move to Italy to find a farm(s) to work and plant some roots!

PHILOSOPHY

Share the human experience with people of all perspectives. In our globalized age we have no excuse for ignorance and I want to see and experience as much of the world first hand as I can. I feel we should appreciate our roots and celebrate each of the nuances that make the individual. Culture is a beautiful thing that cannot be recreated and is best spread through open hearts and observant eyes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel very frequently and recently moved to a new continent! I am looking for meetups, gatherings and friendly people who would be willing to give me a local's perspective of their city!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met wonderful people as hosts in Colombia, Italy, France and Chicago! Can't wait to meet more!

Interests

I am an artist/running&hiking/cooking/yoga&meditation enthusiast. I enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors, and going for long walks/hikes. I also draw and make ceramics a lot. I'm always looking for that new place that will inspire me in my art. I love many different cuisines; Indian, Thai, and Italian are my favorites.

Music, Movies, and Books

Of the three I am definitely most passionate about music, so I will start there: BLK JKS, Fleetwood Mac, Lianne La Havas, Janelle Monáe, Flying Lotus, The Police, Simon and Garfunkle, Celia Cruz, Nujabes, The Used, Florence + the Machine, Amy Whinehouse, Anberlin, Jason Mraz, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Earth Wind & Fire, Marvin Gaye, and many many more.
Books: I have come across a lot of interesting reads in my time. I prefer non-fiction generally, but I do love to dabble in fantasy to keep horrors of reality at bay. Personally, I love the Song of Ice and Fire series and would be willing to have in depth conversations at any point.
Movies: I'm really into Psycho-thrillers! I also like horror and adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While visiting San Antonio I visited Natural Bridge Caverns and I saw some of the most stunning formations! They were so beautiful.
The late summer Vermont midnight sky. No words.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn about people's cultures! I love the diversity of humans and I want to understand and experience all the cultures I can.
Somethings that I've learned:
Everyone is trying to live life the best they know how, mistakes are bound to happen.
You can open somebody's eyes, but you can't make them look.
Keep the past where it is, the past.
