We love adventures of all sorts in traveling, outdoors, trying new restaurants, continuing education, starting businesses, taking risks & entertaining our nieces & nephews during family gatherings.

PHILOSOPHY

We're drawn toward the present moment philosophies such as Eckhart Tolle, Vipassana Meditation, etc. We love experiences more than possessions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We always forget to use couch surfing since we used to fly standby & had a hard time committing to specific dates. (Kelsi was a flight attendant before our baby was born). We usually end up in Hostels or Guest Houses. We took a couch surfing trip to Portland just to take initiative & try it out one week. It was sooooo fun!!!! We've been wanting to be more active with it. We had our home listed available, but didn't end up getting any guests before we sold it in the summer. Now we're renting during a transition period.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've met lots of people who use it during our extensive travels. We were really wanting to host people when we owned a space that worked. We've only used it one week with two amazing families in Portland.

Interests

We are addicted to the outdoors in all forms: Climbing, Hiking, Camping, Skiing, Biking, Etc. That is why we choose to live where we do: In the mountains!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We spent an entire year traveling the world after finishing law school. From climbing a huge mountain in Nepal to exploring the tribes in Papua and sailing the Greek Islands, it was the adventure of a lifetime!
